SKR Meridian is one institution with three regional presences. Capital structuring and cross-border facilitation across evolving business situations. Three decades of direct experience inside the Indian finance system: RBI-regulated environments, SEBI-governed capital markets, FEMA-framed cross-border structures, and the private credit and trade finance markets.

There is a real difference between an advisor who has read the RBI regulations and one who has structured transactions under them, watched them change, and guided clients through those changes in real time. The India institution is built on the second kind of knowledge.

SKR Meridian does not operate at scale. Engagements are not taken on beyond what can be given full attention. The institution is deliberately sized to maintain the depth that its reputation is built on.

Three decades across Indian and cross-border financial environments form the foundation. What followed was three decades of direct work across structured finance, trade finance, private credit, and cross-border capital. Multiple RBI policy cycles. Two major SEBI regulatory overhauls. The full arc of India's economic liberalisation.

The value of that experience, for a client today, is specific. It is not knowledge of where regulations currently stand. That is available to any competent advisor. The value is in knowing what the regulator has done before in comparable situations, what the direction of regulatory travel has historically been, and what the structural decisions that look safe today are likely to look like under the next policy iteration. That kind of intelligence is not found in a circular. It is accumulated through years of being inside the system when the circulars were issued.

SKR Fincon Ltd was incorporated in 2016 to formalise an institution that had been operating for years. SKR Meridian is its current expression: eleven engagement environments, each of which has been delivered personally at the transaction level before appearing here.

The instrument follows the situation. Not the other way around.
